HD TV Guide - Sharp LC19SB27UT 19-Inch LCD HDTV

If you are currently shopping around for a small HD TV for your guestroom, kitchen, bedroom, office or kid's room, you just have to get your hands on the Sharp LC19SB27UT. It is currently one of the best mainstream 19-inch HD TV in the market. This model is perfect for casual use, thanks to its very affordable price tag, great performance and decent specs.

The new Sharp LC19SB27UT is a 720p HD TV. It is a very straightforward, no-nonsense TV model with an easy set up and a very user-friendly remote control. You can mount the TV to a wall with a wall mount (which I did) that was also very easy to do. This TV is an all black model. The front has a glossy black screen bezel that curves slightly at the bottom side, giving it a sleek appearance. The TV measures at 18.5 x 2.6 x 13.1 inches in dimensions.

Hd Tv

The Sharp LC19SB27UT has a 60Mhz refresh rate and a 5ms pixel response time. It has a great viewing angle (170 degrees) where the images where still crisp and vibrant when being viewed at odd angles. It also has a standard array of connectors that includes a HDMI port, VGA input, AV jacks, and audio ports.

The set of built-in stereo speakers that comes with this model produces a total of 3 Watts in audio power. Whilst this is more than sufficient for small spaces, you might want to hook it up to some speakers if you are looking for a little extra audio power. This TV did a great job at playing HD videos and content. The visuals were sharp with decent black levels and color accuracy (especially for its size and price range). All in all, the Sharp LC19SB27UT has proven to a very versatile and competent mini HDTV. At the moment, it is retailing at just around 7 per unit!

Brilliant Color and Contrast in an Ultra-Thin Design

A Sleek LED-Backlit HDTV

Sleek and stylish edge-lit Razor LED backlighting gives it vivid color and contrast with brilliant clarity, and allows for an ultra-slim form factor of just over 2 inches at its deepest point, for a great-looking HDTV that will suit any room.

The E190VA delivers 250 nits brightness and a 20,000:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio, for deeper blacks and brighter whites throughout your programming.

Optimal Viewing in Any Light

Built-in ambient light sensing technology ensures you'll have a great picture in any lighting.

View slideshows of your favorite JPEG photos via the E190VA's USB port.

No matter your lighting arrangement, you'll always have the best picture possible thanks to built-in ambient light sensing technology. The E190VA automatically adjusts backlight levels based on its surroundings to optimize levels. The result is a balanced picture that will never appear washed out or too bright.

Superior Surround Sound

This HDTV also delivers advanced audio, thanks to SRS technologies. SRS TruVolume limits volume inconsistencies between programming, saving you from those incredibly loud commercials or smoothing out that action film so you don't wake the neighbors. SRS TruSurroundHD delivers an immersive surround sound experience marked by clearer dialogue, and more precise bass and high frequency signals.

Two HDMI Ports

Two HDMI ports can accommodate your home theater setup and Blu-ray Player, to deliver a full cinematic experience from different sources.

USB Photo Viewing

Enjoy viewing your JPG/JPEG photos on the big screen with the E190VA's USB port. Here's your chance for a fullscreen slideshow of that family vacation, complete with transition effects like dissolves and wipes.

ECO HD

VIZIO's ECO HD label means this HDTV exceeds the current ENERGY STAR Guidelines, saving you money on your utility bills while limiting your carbon footprint.

In addition, this display's backlight is more than other backlighting methods, since LED edge lights do not utilize mercury, an environmentally harmful substance.
