Part one of three. In one of his most ambitious challenge, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May attempt to race from Northern Italy to the North Pole, a journey of 450 miles. The land in between is one of the toughest there is in the earth, the mountains and jagged sea ice. Temperatures can drop below 65 degrees Celsius, and polar bears are an additional threat. While Jeremy and James drive pulled in the comfort of a vehicle specially adapted pick up, Richard will travel on a sled by a teamten huskies.
